Pet Tribute Wall

13 years. Of couch and bedtime cuddles, chasing our Chick fil a straws, “human”ing, waking me up at 3am for food by tearing up my room, purring so loud I couldn’t help but listen. You came to me at a time when I really needed a friend. We definitely picked each other and were inseparable from then on. The way you fit in the palm of my hand, and rode on my shoulder on the way home. You and I became a package deal around the household. We played with laser pointers and feather toys, but you decided my braided hair was the best thing to dive bomb and snag. We grew together in some of my most important seasons. High school, nursing school, starting my career. Navigating adulthood, some heartbreak, moving out and moving home (again), and everything in between. You were always there to cuddle with. To cry with. To look into my eyes with so much love and make me feel whole. I will forever miss those emerald green eyes looking back at me. You will always be my best friend, my soul cat, my sweet baby boy, my little angel, my Kellogg. Thank you for letting me love you, and for allowing me the privilege to be loved by you. There will not be a day that goes by that I don’t feel the weight of your absence. I will look for you in every day moments until we meet again my sweet boy. I love and will miss you always.
