We are here to give you the care and sensitivity you need during this difficult time. Our specially trained staff will give you and your pet tender loving care. A visit to our facility and attending services for burial or cremation is helpful and reassuring.
Hamilton Pet Meadow is family-owned and located on 6 beautiful acres in Hamilton, Mercer County, NJ. It has been a tranquil resting place for pets for over 100 years. Hamilton Pet Meadow is a member of the International Association of Pet Cemeteries and Crematories, maintaining the highest standards in the profession and following a strict Code of Ethics.

True Private Pet Cremation, providing peace of mind
True Private Pet Cremation
Pet Meadow provides True Private pet Cremation. Unlike “Individual” or “Segregated” cremation, True Private Cremation ensures your pet is cremated in its own, dedicated chamber. This way, you can be sure that you receive your pet’s, and only your pet’s, ashes back. We also utilize state-of-the-art equipment and a rigorous tracking system to ensure the integrity of our processes. We will return your pet’s remains in an elegant wooden memorial chest of your choosing. We also offer a vast range of personalized memorial urns available on our website or on display at our memorial locations.

Viewing
Viewing your pet prior to cremation can be an important part of the grieving process. Our private viewing room is a place where your family can gather to say goodbye to your cherished pet. You will have the option to watch as your loved one is gently placed in their individual chamber.
Private Aquamation
Aquamation is a gentle and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional flame-based cremation. Using a combination of water flow, temperature, and natural alkali, Aquamation turns your pet’s remains to ash without the use of fire or fossil fuels.
Witness appointments are not available for Aquamation services.
Communal Pet Cremation
This process involves cremating your pet simultaneously with other pets. As a result, we do not return these cremains.
Transportation
We will gently transport your pet from your veterinarian’s office or your home to our facility.
Pre-need Planning
We know that the loss of a pet is a very emotionally difficult time. For this reason, we suggest that pet owners think about after-care options before the need arises.
You can make arrangements with us ahead of time. As a result, you can decide on your wishes during a time of calm, rather than crisis. Lastly, we encourage you to call us anytime for pre-planning of pet cremation services.
Pet Burial Services
A formal burial of your pet is available, including a plot, casket, marker, and custom headstone. A deed restriction and maintenance fees ensure the continued care of the cemetery and burial plots. You can make arrangements by calling our office. A burial is only available at our Hamilton office.
