Losing a pet is one of the hardest things a person can go through, so we know how you feel. Our staff would be happy to talk to you about this difficult time. Anytime something like this occurs, it is best to know what options you have for support. We can point you in the right direction to get you the help you need. Sometimes just talking with a group of people or talking to the right person is all you need. For some people, just starting the process of getting a new pet helps start the healing process. Opening up to the staff can really help us make sure you are headed in the right direction.
Our staff is dedicated to making this process as easy as possible for you. Feel free to reach out to us about anything you would like to talk about. We would be more than happy to help you as much as we can. We are here to answer any questions you have about support groups as well. People have benefitted greatly from the talking to people in support chat rooms. Taking the next the step after losing a pet is hard, but you will feel better once you begin.
The Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement
The APLB is a nonprofit association of concerned volunteers who are experienced and knowledgeable in the tender subject of pet loss. Our chat rooms are free and available to anyone bereaving for a beloved pet. Membership is not required for this.
