Maia

Maia, our sweet, pretty little girl. “Maia” is the Goddess of Nurturing. She only lived 8 years, June 10, 2016 to Oct 22, 2024 and died of heart disease. Here she is in her beloved backyard with the clover, playing with her beloved human brothers fetching golf balls. She loved all people and greeted each person as if she knew them from past lives. She loved big, burly men, and ladies and girls but differently. She adored small children as if they were her sibling puppies and was so gentle with them. She was a fantastic sight and scent hound. She would find hard to find golfballs by scent. She would also chase helicopters and large UPS or Fedex jets. We never could figure out what she would do with them if she caught one. So smart and pretty with beautiful soft fur. She loved her mommy, brothers and close family friends and relatives and remembered everyone she met. She loved Friday nights in her backyard with pizza and her family. We were fortunate to have had her with us during her short life. We hope there is something to that past lives idea that she believed in and we see her again.
