Scout was a beautiful and amazing kitty . She started out as a feral cat surviving in the wild for many years – only allowing us to feed her and provide outdoor shelter . She was attacked by a wild animal at age 7 and then allowed us to take her in and handle and care for her . She became a loveable couch potato who enjoyed her safe home with her people and her kitty housemates . She lived a good life and fought her disease , allowing us once again to treat her until her little body succumbed at the age of 18 . Our hearts are broken but will eventually heal because of all the wonderful memories that we have .
