Micah came into my life during one of the most challenging periods I had ever faced. He was just a tiny kitten, full of energy, silliness, and unconditional love. Through his vibrant and loving personality, he helped me find my way back to the light. Three years later, Micah welcomed my husband into our lives and quickly grew to adore him. The three of us shared a wonderful three years together, creating cherished memories filled with love and happiness. Micah became an integral part of our family, our little Teddy Bear who brought so much joy into our lives. But then, Micah was diagnosed with an advanced kidney obstruction as he neared the age of seven. We learned that he had been born with an abnormally small kidney on one side, which placed immense strain on his remaining kidney, ultimately leading to complications. Despite weeks of treatment and moments of hopeful improvement, his health began to decline once again. Today, after exhausting every option to save our beloved Micah, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to let him go. We chose to prevent him from enduring any further suffering, even though it broke our hearts. Micah was there for me at my lowest, a constant source of comfort and love. While we tried our best to save him from the inevitable, we find solace in believing that he is now in a better place. We will forever carry the memory of our sweet Teddy Bear in our hearts.
