Molly

Molly, our all black shih tzu for almost 13 years, passed away suddenly on August 3, 2012. She was a true part of the family and best friend to our son Dan. Molly was loved by everyone who knew her and cared for her, from other family members, friends, neighbors, our vet office, and mostly by us. Molly loved to do tricks, like wave hello, roll over, and say please (sit up on her hind legs). Even with arthritis in her legs, she was eager to prove she was up to the trick! She loved her “Happy Hips” treats to help with her achy legs. She also loved her vanilla cookies before bed every night. Molly liked wandering outside watching us do our chores around the house with us. She also would visit her favorite neighbors on the small cul-de-sac, but faithfully would return home shortly after her visits. Molly was spoiled and loved sleeping on Dan’s bed every night. She was quiet and would sleep peacefully most nights, except during thunderstorms, which she was very afraid of. Those nights, she would pace and sometimes hide, she even hid in the bath tub one night! Molly, you were one of the family and you will be missed in so many ways. We all hope you rest peacefully and have the best treats in “dog heaven”! We love you so much! Until we see you again, our hearts will never forget what a good doggie you are!
