Foxy Cleopatra was a force of nature, who came into our lives like a three pound wrecking ball covered in fur, and instantly became a part of our family. She was with us for over 7 years and countless adventures including a move from Los Angeles to Philadelphia. Despite her size she was absolutely fearless and believed herself to be the alpha in every situation. She was stubborn. She was silly. She was a firecracker. She was a beam of sunshine and the floofiest, goofiest little pom pom we ever had the pleasure of meeting. And while she wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, she made up for all of that with her feisty and oversized personality. She was an amazing addition to our family and came to us during a time when we felt we were missing a piece, and she just fit right in with us so perfectly. She was such an amazing big sister, not only to her canine brother Henry, but all of her many human siblings as well. She was so invested and loving with every new foster child that came through our house, and even as they learned how to be gentle with her, she was always patient and gentle with them. In addition to loving her family, Foxy loved a leisurely meal, playing in the snow, a warm blanket, and a snuggle with her brother (when no one was looking). But most of all she loved turkey. Like, obsessed with it. She made that dad from A Christmas Story look like a casual fan, and was known to stalk the kitchen on Thanksgiving searching for any tiny morsel of that sweet stuff… and we hope that she is resting easy now with the biggest plate of turkey imaginable in front of her. We loved this little ball of joy so much. And we will never forget the beautiful times and memories we shared together. Good girl, Foxy. Good girl. Rest in peace, sweet angel.
