To Bonnie, my snuggle partner and our protector. You gave me and Addie so much love. You were the most amazing dog—fiercely loyal, endlessly loving, and always making sure we were okay. I wish you could live another 80 years, because life without you is going to be so hard. You were our best friend, and I can’t thank you enough for making my life a hundred times better. I’m going to miss you wagging your tail at the door when we came home. Even though it was sometimes frustrating, I’ll miss looking for all the shoes you loved to hide. But most of all, I’ll miss my snuggle partner. That was our favorite thing—curling up on the couch, watching a show or movie, and you lying right on my chest. Thank you for always protecting and watching over Addie. She loved when you slept beside her at night, or when you curled up in her bed while she did her homework. Life isn’t fair sometimes, and I know we all have to go someday, but I just wish we had more time together. I hope you’re in heaven now—rolling in the grass, playing fetch, and lying by the lake watching the ducks swim by. We love you so, so much. ❤️
