Pepper
Our Sweet Boy Pepper 3/23/12 – 6/23/25 Though we only had him for a little less than his 13 years, Pepper positioned himself in the warmest place of our hearts. Pepper was the smartest cat in the rescue adjusting his level of play to every other cat appropriately. He used to zoom all around the condo, and despite not wanting to be a lap cat in his later kittenhood, he was sensitive enough to climb into mom’s lap when she grieved the Sandy Hook tragedy. In his adult years, he would be a weighted blanket taking a relaxing snooze on your lap most nights. He was the first to “complain to the manager” when breakfast was late, and he was always up for a cuddle. He was a chatty one who easily found the best sleeping spots even if they were tiny boxes that he somehow managed to squeeze himself into. We knew we wouldn’t have him forever as kidney disease was slowly overtaking his body. When he started showing signs that he was fading, it was time for us to let him go. We will miss him more than we ever thought I could miss a pet. He was essentially his mom’s first one—she chose him but he became a huge part of her. He was the sweetest, chattiest, lap kitty with the softest fur and just a darling little face. Rest easy, beautiful boy. 😢🥺😣😔💔

Forever in our hearts!
Lassie
You were always more than a pet, you were our little spoiled child, the cutest soul who filled our days with laughter and joy through your sweet, funny shenanigans. We hope you’re running free now, with an endless supply of lettuce and chocolates. We’ll miss you deeply, Laslosi. The house is filled with emptiness without the sound of your little paws, your loving eyes, and the comfort of your presence beside us. Your absence leaves a silence that nothing can fill, but in our hearts, there’s peace, because we know we’ll see you again someday. Until then, run free, our beloved girl. May your precious soul rest in peace, our beautiful little Lassie
