My most loyal friend for the past 15 years, my beloved Polydactyl Jakey “Thumbs” got his wings on April 4. He loved everyone, was our protector, and everyone loved him as well. He had a beautiful life and as my 32 year old son said to me – Mom, you let him be a cat. The ‘wild’ still in our feline friends must be honored. Jake was a testament. I miss you terribly my friend. Rest easy.

Moose, you were our first dog. You were my companion for walks, my nap buddy, and so much more. I going to miss your endless devotion to food and squeaky tennis balls, and that goofy grin you would give me whenever we were on a walk together. You were so wonderful in putting up with William, he adored you more than you realized. 7 years was far too young, this was all so sudden; I only hope that you know just how much we loved you. You may have been a family pet, but you were my baby, my shadow. Be at peace my sweet boy.

Grandpa… We remember the first day I adopted you from the shelter. Missing tail, watery eyes, covered in your own pee because you were too slow to move out of the litter box. Only 10 years young, full of health issues. But we knew we had to take you home to have another shot at life. You were taken from us too soon. The love you gave us in the 7 months we had you was immeasurable. From a scared, old cat in a shelter, to a spunky little old grandpappy, you were the best cat until the end. You have changed our lives forever Grandpa. We were so happy to have you as the old man of the house. We are so sorry we couldn’t give you more time with us.

M you were the best Momma cat in the world. You raised your own babies and others too with the same amount of love. You mean so much to me. I always hoped you would live forever but I know you stayed as long as you could. I miss you so much M. Home isn’t the same without you. I hope I see you first when it’s my time. I love you M.
