A miracle appeared one North Carolina summer night. This orange baby lie waiting for someone to find him. Injured, he was taken to the vet by his new parents and told that he was an FIV baby. Despite this and his other injuries/issues, Chester fought on. For a time, he was able to fight to stay healthy, surprising even the vet that diagnosed him. For a year and a half, he fought and lived a life he would’ve never had on the streets. He had a family. He held on for them. But there comes a time when you’ve fought too long. He lived a life of struggle, but knew an end of love and kindness. May we meet again my beautiful boy, my little lion, my Chester.
