Marbles

My dear sweet Marbles…It was over 12 years ago when we first met at a church hosting kitten adoptions. In the center of the room was a huge crate with half a dozen cuties only a few weeks old. As I made my way around it, you kept looking at me and, when we made eye contact, you meowed as if to stay, “I’m the one.” Sure enough, you were. We brought you home, but the very next day you were so sick and weak. We took you to the vet and thankfully you recovered completely. Through the years, we enjoyed your spunk and laughed at your adorable silliness. You were also a bit mischievous — crawling into the teeniest places for privacy. Good thing you were a talker, so you always answered us. You never outgrew that sweet kitten personality, yet you showed the fighter in you through your various illnesses, but this time the infection was too much for your little body. Yesterday, the girls and I held you for the last time and said our tearful goodbyes. We love you so much. Murphy and Ashley will see you on the other side of the bridge, so enjoy frolicking again… until we reunite, my sweet Marbles.💗
