Sadie 08.26.11 – 11.03.23
Anyone who met Sadie would tell you what a loving, kind, and gentle soul she was. I rescued Sadie from the SPCA in Monmouth County. She came from an abusive past but that never stopped her from living her life and loving as many people as she could. Her resilience inspired me every day. Watching her grow to trust people and love again was the best gift she gave me. Her love changed me. Her personality was split between being the ultimate couch potato or going absolutely insane to go for a walk. There was literally no in between. She was there for me in my darkest hours and was my true reason why I was happy to get out of bed every morning. To be able to see her joy for feeling the sun on her face.. it’s something I will never forget. I’m forever grateful for her. Sadie, where ever you are, thank you for being my dog. I love you.
