🐾💔 *In Lana’s Memory* “Little Lana, you were loved in your short time here. Your tiny paws left big paw prints on our hearts. Rest in sweet puppy dreams, sweet girl 🐾❤️.”
There’s something poetic about it all Leaving out after the longest of nights Knowing that we’ve had a ball And knowing we must now turn out the lights I’ve loved and I’ve lost, time and again Each one hurts more than the last But knowing with my heart and with my brain That your love was ever so vast I wish we had longer, I wish there was time To cuddle, to play, to roam But the life you’ve lead has brightened mine In ways that I could never bemoan Twelve long years on this pale blue dot Spent with me, Daisy, mama and Troo I surely know that you loved me a lot And more than you could ever know, I surely loved you too. Sleep tight, Barrett. I’ll see you on the other side one day. ❤️🩹
Today I said goodbye to a very special soul who came into my life when I needed him most. I had him since he was just five months old, and from the very beginning he was exactly who he was meant to be—sweet, well-behaved, and quietly hilarious in his own way. Harvey liked his space and his peace, but when he decided it was time for cuddles, you knew it and those moments meant everything. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better friend. I found him during one of the hardest moments of my life, after losing my schnauzer, Dallas. The hole she left felt impossible to fill, but somehow, in his own gentle and unassuming way, he filled it. He brought comfort, companionship, and calm when I needed it most. He lived a simple, lazy life and I was more than happy to give that to him. He was loved beyond words, loved every single day, and loved right up until the end. I hope Harvey is resting now, free and flourishing, knowing how deeply he was cherished. Thank you for choosing me, my sweet boy. You will always be part of my heart.
