Paulie Remo Gualtieri

Paulie Remo Gualtieri was rescued just before his 3rd birthday from the MSPCA. His Mother and Father wasted no time and spoiled him right away with the love he had always deserved. Paulie was a fighter who survived cruelty, heart-worm, and allergies that would keep most dogs down and out from the world but not Paul. He was a sunshine boy through and through. Paulie loved physical affection, calm surroundings, and lived for his dose of Vitamin D by spending his days in the sun. Paulie loved chicken, zoomies, bully sticks, naps, Sunset Park, the beach, PAWS pet boutique, toys, Nora Jones, children’s cartoons, pillow forts, clothing, siting on his extremely small buttcheeks, walking over the bridge to see the ducks like Tony Soprano, Chick-Fil-A, whipped cream, HIS STROLLER, puppy massages, pretending his father was an intruder, car rides, squirrels, running, and of course his family whom he was surrounded by as he crossed over. He was well known in his hometown of Asbury Park thanks to his BORN TO RIDE stroller outings on the weekends. He loved the various menu options and rights he had in his city. To quote his favorite artist, Nora Jones, “If I were a painter And could paint a memory I’d climb inside the swirling skies to be with you I’d climb inside the skies to be with you.” Paw-paw, if from the beginning we knew we would only have 15 months together, we would choose you over and over again. We hope it was the best year of your life because it was undoubtedly the best of ours. We will see you in the skies, our sunshine boy.
