Lola

My little princess ….she was only 10.5 years old but I don’t know that any amount of time would have been enough. She was my lifeline…my everything….I wasn’t even looking for a dog but she found me! Her little 6 week old self picked me out and ther her was no turning back…soul mates.

I was in Iceland on vacation when she departed. I was on a farm early that day and a reindeer started to walk right by my side for quite a while. Then when I stopped to turn back and leave, he put his face right in my face just like Lola used to….after that, I visited the largest waterfall in Europe and right over the waterfall was a big, beautiful rainbow….shortly after that I, received the news. I don’t generally believe in spiritual sorts of things but I have to believe that lolas spirit was in the reindeer…that, that was her saying goodbye….
