Matador

True to his name (pet rescue, Catahoula Leopard) Matador had the strength and dexterity to be a bull fighter. He ran mile after mile next to my bike, walked/ran enough miles with me to cross NY to LA three times, loved outdoors Maine to Virginia. He learned to co-pilot a sunfish sailboat, made friends, big and small, everywhere he went, and loved resting near a good fire in the wood stove on wet/wintery days.

He was loved by all. He was a joy in every possible way.
