Molly – 03/15/2024

Molly was born in Ireland and made the long journey to the United States as a small puppy. As soon as we met her it was love at first sight. A true relationship began and she became a welcomed addition to our family and our best friend. She loved to play fetch and would chase after the ball or frisbee for hours until she exhausted herself or us. It was hard to keep her away from the hose if we were trying to water the flowers in the backyard, she couldn’t wait to get wet and enjoyed jumping in and out of the kiddie pool we bought for her. She loved romping in the snow until the snowballs collected and clung to her hair. Anyone who walked in the front door was the recipient of the “Wheaten Greetin’.” It was hard to get mad at her because of her unconditional love that she willingly gave to us. You could usually find her perched on the edge of the couch looking out the window, waiting for someone to pass by so she could bark at them. Usually it was the mailman, delivery person, or another passerby walking their dog down the street (our great protector). After our son move out, she decided Kevin and I would become her new constant companions. The love she gave to us was returned to her in multiple ways. Her last months were tough on all of us, but she put up a good fight until she no longer could. Letting her go was the hardest decision we would have to make, but we know she is at peace now. She will be dearly missed and has a place in our hearts forever. REST IN PEACE MOLLY, OUR FAITHFUL FRIEND
