Always present. The best boy. He was first a bachelor dog, then became a family dog — and he filled both roles perfectly. He was the best of the best, and in the end, he was the one consoling us. He was always searching for food, ready to eat anything he could find, and never missed a chance to investigate a snack. He loved curly-haired dogs at the park, chasing small animals, and every adventure that let him follow his instincts and his joy. He had eyes that could look into your soul — as if he always knew how you were feeling and understood every word you said. He is now reunited with his cat sister Marley, and we take comfort in imagining them together again. He will be forever missed by his family, who will miss his cuddles, his presence, and the quiet comfort he brought simply by being near. He was loved deeply. He loved us completely. And he will always be part of us.
