Snickers

Snickers came into my life in August 2023, after having had two previous owners. Being 11 already, it was a difficult transition for her, but she braved it all and grew to be a loving, trusting companion, even when it came to being stuck with needles, going under anesthesia and through radiation treatments. She loved treats, sleeping in the car with the sun on her back, and going outside to check out whether there were any birds or chipmunks around. She had to touch me at night while sleeping, which is something I grew to cherish. Snickers, aka Biscuit, was a special dog, and I am sorry that I only got to have her for two years, but they were good ones. When I found out she had a tumor in her chest, I tried to do what I could to give her a longer, fulfilling life, but to no avail. I am devastated by her passing, but I know it was the right thing to do. Snickers has left a huge hole in my heart, but I am thankful that I did get to have her for a short time. She will always be sorely missed.
