In Loving Memory of My Sweet Boy Stanley (January 29, 2011 – May 10, 2025)

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beloved dachshund, who crossed the rainbow bridge on May 10, 2025. Born in 2011 and welcomed into my life in 2012, he was so much more than a pet, he was my heart, my shadow, and one of the greatest companions I could ever ask for.

From the moment he came into our home, his personality lit up our lives. He was funny in ways only he could be, always keeping us laughing with his quirky antics. He had a love for cuddles that melted everyone’s heart, he was happiest when cradled like a baby, snuggled up close, soaking in every bit of love he gave so freely in return.

He adored the sunshine and could often be found basking in the warmth, eyes closed and tail still. He had a special bond with water too, whether it was playing in the sprinklers or enjoying bath-time with his human brother, he made every moment joyful. He loved deeply, lived fully, and gave more to our lives than words can ever express.

He was incredibly smart, always surprising us with his understanding and intuition. But most of all, he was loving, so, so loving. A true best friend, loyal to the core, always there through life’s ups and downs.

His paws may no longer pitter-patter through our home, but his spirit remains with us. In our memories, in our laughter, and in every warm ray of sunshine. We will carry him in our hearts forever. Thank you, sweet boy, for the love, the joy, and the years you gave us. You will always be missed and never forgotten. 💔🌈🦴
