You were a big furry ball of skittish-ness, when a friend who wasn’t allowed to keep you brought you to our apartment in 2013 Your introduction to our skinny furry bully did not go well at all & we were worried that (2) 2 year old female cat strangers cohabitating might not end up working out After almost a week, you were our Suzie {named by previous family}… no longer hiding inside the couch… deciding to ditch duplicates and share food/water bowls & a litter box with Mabelline Over the years & a couple moves… you continued to be a big scaredy cat {we disconnected all the door bells}… you continued to tolerate your sister {gently hissing her out of your space}… you continued to be the most loving cat to both your dad & me seeking endless affection {c-o-n-s-t-a-n-t-l-y begging for @ss smacks & cuddling on the couch because Mabel wouldn’t let you onto our bed} Suzie became Fatty Suz, Suze, Fatso Suzo, Fatso Baby {even Fatamus Whineamus Suzipotamus after a night of many drinks} 2018 was the last vacation we took because we had to start giving you daily transdermal medication for hyperthyroid & were afraid you might revert to hiding inside the couch if someone else attempted to apply it Jumping onto the kitchen counter to drink directly from the faucet turned into arthritic walking up the ramp onto the couch to lick an ice cold seltzer can {sooooooooo many ramps all around the house} “Broken” isn’t even the word for what our hearts are… how we lived was for you… we miss you so very much, our favorite girl ????
